Ism-Skism provided short, intensive residencies for artists working in the public domain, who produced murals in Clarens and Kgubetswana, in the Free State, and exhibited works in an accompanying exhibition space, the proceeds of which were used to fund the programme. It was primarily self-funded and lasted for two years, between 2013 and 2014. The first iteration included Mook Lion, Mr. Migo, Skubalisto, Marti Lund, Sakhile Mhlongo, and Matthew Wareley. The second included Seth1Time, JohnnyKoel, Skubalisto and FuzzySlipperz.
